Checking in on the local news, 30 traffic lights were stolen from the San Telmo neighborhood in the past two weeks alone. In a 2-block area-- Avenida Paseo Colón betw. Juan de Garay & San Juan--"more than 12" traffic lights were filched in just 15 days, according to La Nacion. The robberies have cost the government about $250,000.00 (Arg. pesos) so far this year.
