Como Nos Ven...again
Admittedly, this isn't an actual "Como Nos Ven" piece that's translated an article of mine for Clarín readers (like this one from last February). But it's close enough: Two days after the NYT published a piece I did about the Boedo nabe, Clarín wrote an article about the article. Always tickled to say my name in the body of a newspaper story (well, when it's not in the Policiales section...).

I have the feeling of reading old news (although it sounds as a bit of a contradiction) when opening La Nación and find out an article I have already read in the NYT.
On January 3rd, for example, I read an article in the Times titled "Brazilian lessons for 2008" by Roger Cohen, which was published some days later by La Nación (in its Enfoques section) under the title "Un yankee en las playas del rey Lula" …. As far as I know, Mr Roger Cohen is not a yankee.
Congratulations for this interesting “GoodAirs” blog!!
Happy weekend ! Sofía from Buenos Aires
Thanks for the article on Boedo-- today I checked out Cafe Margot and Pan y Arte and liked them a lot (but not Cossab, which was closed- wah). Definitely worth another trip out there, especially for the only turkey sandwiches I've been able to find in this whole country. I hope to see some more useful stuff in your blog.
Ben
